The September 2009 Meeting of the North Texas Aeromodelers was held on Tuesday August 18th, 2009.

• The Meeting was called to Order by President Gary Saba at 7:09 pm. 11 Members were present.

• Secretary Dallas Stroud read the minuets from last months Hooters Meeting

• There was no Old business to discuss

• The Helicopter tables were discussed and talked about 2-4x4 tables
  But in a future meeting at the field between Evan and Dallas thinking about comments about mowing around the tables a new design is in the works (Mobil)

• Hooters or The Golden Coral are now new possible locations for the Christmas Fun Fly

• Dallas will contact Golden Coral this following week to talk about scheduling

• October 24th is the official date for the Fun Fly!

• Burgers and hotdogs will be available as well as the extras (drinks, chips, ETC.)
  John Larsen will make a CostCo run, Gary will go to NT Foods, Daren will grab the drinks, tables, and his cooler, and Dallas will supply his grill, a table, and an extra cooler.
  
  Events! (in no particular order yet)

• Pylon Race! (against clock only) with a loop and a roll in the middle
  Limbo! (extra points for inverted pass)

• Drag Race! Details will be worked out soon but basic two or four planes (Must be able to fly!)

• Golf Ball drop (a Solo cup will be rube banded to your plane and you will go inverted to drop the ball on a target

• Spot Landing (added to the end of almost any event)

• Touch and go and climb and glide if time permits only

• Nominations in November! Start your campaigning now!

The November Meeting will be Held Saturday Morning at 8:00am at the Golden Coral in Denton on November 7th
